I’m a freelance journalist and editor based in Los Angeles. Most of my work covers design, architecture, and culture. 

Previously, I was a staff reporter at the Los Angeles Times, where I covered retail, e-commerce, and the economy’s effects on consumer behavior, and a breaking news reporter for the New York Times as part of the 2022-23 fellowship class. Before newspapers, I was an editor at Architectural Digest, where I wrote about art, design, and architecture. I write about design for a variety of other publications including T Magazine, Elle Decor, and House Beautiful.

I was born and raised in Northern California.
